Magnificent Mendenhall Mudpuddle Meet
| Auke Lake, Juneau | Distance: 10 miles
Location: University of Alaska-Juneau parking lot, Auke Lake
Course: twice around the university lot, then south on the Glacier Highway and around the Loop Road past Floyd Dryden, across the Mendenhall River bridge and past DeHarts before the final stretch back to the campus
Start Time: 10:00 AM, registration from 9:00 AM and closing 15 minutes before the start
Registration Fee: 1 dollar, plus sponsors pledging at least 50 cents a mile
The ninth Magnificent Mendenhall Mudpuddle Meet, run by Juneau Parks and Recreation, Juneau Special Olympics and the University of Alaska-Juneau as a fund-raiser for Special Olympics. Separate divisions for men and women at 15 and under, 16-26, 27-39 and 40 and over.
