Description Distance: an 18.5 mile cycle and a 6.5 mile run Location: Juneau The first Juneau Biathlon, entered either solo or as a pair with one cyclist and one runner. 30 took part. A pair won it: Paul O'Brien on the bike and Rick Thibodeau running, in 1:24:28. Glenn Frick and Al Graves were second in 1:30:23. Bill Lorenz was the fastest of those doing both legs themselves, third overall in 1:30:57 - 51:35 on the bike and 39:22 on foot - and John Geary was next among the solo entrants in 1:39:06, fourth overall. Angela Davis led the women in 1:41:21, 12th overall. Every time above includes the bike leg, and half of them belong to two people rather than one.
