Veteran's Day 8K Run Mendenhall Glacier parking lot, JuneauEight kilometre run from the Mendenhall Glacier parking lot, 10:00 AM start. Race director Mike McKrill. This edition did NOT count toward Empire Cup points - the Juneau Empire notes it as a run people could enter before the awards banquet the following Saturday. "We run it no matter what the conditions, rain or snow," McKrill said. "It's great fun and we'll have hot chocolate after the race, even if it's not cold."
