| Description | TIMES: 9:00, 9:30 and 10:00 am DISTANCE: Legs vary from ~3.5 to 5.5 miles START: Eagle Beach Campground parking lot FINISH: Skaters Cabin @ Mendenhall Lake CONTACTS: Ken Maas (907) 789-5119, e-mail: kmaas@gci.net or Brian Goettler (907) 586-8799, e-mail: getinak@aol.com. Organize a team of 5 persons or test your mettle with as few as 2 runners. There are 3 start times depending on the estimated elapsed time for your team. Race participants will receive a piece of running apparel to commemorate this activity. A picnic/cookout at Skater's Cabin immediately follows the race. SERR will provide the BarBQ items and teams are asked to provide potluck treats (salads, fruits, baked goods, etc.). |
